WW2 Personalised handpainted and carved wooden cigarette case (1944).
This is a typical handmade soldiers souvenir cigarette case. Painted on the front with the coat of arms of Vienna, the date 1944 and a map of the Vienna erea, as well as some typical wedding and birth sceneries.
On the inside is a dedication that reads: “Im Jahre 1944 von deinem Jungen Karl – Anton Burm”.
A unique personal item, with a great artistic appearance.
This would look great in a glass collectors displaycabinet.
