WWI custom painted Kochgeschirr / Mess kit.
This is one of those items, an original World War One Kochgeschirr/Mess kit (im not sure, but it might be Austrian made), with custom flower paintjob.
Overal in used condition, some dents and remains of age, but all in all not too bad for an over 100 year old item.
I have in all honesty no clue when it was made. wartime or postwar. Maybe even post WW2. After both world wars a great number of military items were altered for civilian use. Maybe this is one of those items. Or either someone just painted it decorative. Either way it is a great little customised piece that would display very well!
