This is medalbar of a World War I veteran who had joined the Army at the end of the ninethienth century. He got then at a oung age as all active soldiers the Centenary medal that was given to all active soldiers in the army because of the 100th birthday of Emperor Wilhelm I. Later in World War I he earned the Iron Cross and was given in 1934 the Frontkämpfer Ehrenkreuz with swords as a remembrance medal for his role in the trenches in WWI. In 1938 he was in some sort of senior capacity given the Sudetenmedal for helping out with the annexation of he Suderenland in o0ktober 1938. By this time he must have been in his late 50’s or early 60’s and was too old for any action in World War II.
The bar has never been worn and is in pristine condition.
