This is a WWII German Wochenspruch (propaganda miniposter) with a saying of Adolf Hitler, it dates to 7-13 June 1942.
These “Wochensprucher” were official by the NSDAP published little propagandaposters, that could because of their small sizes easily be hung up in houses (e.g. in the kitchen), but also in public buildings, et cetera.
The text in the centre comes from a saying of Hitler:
“Möge die deutsche Nation nie vergessen, dass die Härte eines Volkes nicht dann erprobt wird wenn die Führung sichtbare Erfolge aufzuweisen hat, sondern in Stunden scheinbaren Misserfolge – Adolf Hitler”. On the underside is a large german state eagle.
The dimensions of the Wochenspruch are approximately 35 x 24 centimeters. Ideal to list and display in e.g. a glasscabinet next to a collection.
In very good condition and very rare to find!
Will be sent rolled up in a small cardboard container which will in turn be placed in a box to keep the Wochenspruch undamaged.
