This is a WWII German Wochenspruch (propaganda miniposter) with a saying of Adolf Hitler, it dates to 29 november to 5 december 1942.
These “Wochensprucher” were official by the NSDAP published little propagandaposters, that could because of their small sizes easily be hung up in houses (e.g. in the kitchen), but also in public buildings, et cetera.
The text in the centre comes from a saying of Hitler:
“Die Arbeit ehrt die Frau wie den Mann, das Kind aber adelt die Mutter – Adolf Hitler”. On the upperside of the poster is an image of a typical german woman with her children. Of interest to Motherscross/Mutterkreuz collectors is that this particular saying appeared on the very first type of Motherscross.
The dimensions of the Wochenspruch are approximately 35 x 24 centimeters. Ideal to list and display in e.g. a glasscabinet next to a collection.
In very good condition (a small tear on the ide, inviible in a frame) and very rare to find!
Will be sent rolled up in a small cardboard container which will in turn be placed in a box to keep the Wochenspruch undamaged.
