This is a WWII German Wochenspruch (propaganda miniposter) with image of an Iron Cross, it dates to 30 august to 5 september 1942.
These “Wochensprucher” were official by the NSDAP published little propagandaposters, that could because of their small sizes easily be hung up in houses (e.g. in the kitchen), but also in public buildings, et cetera.
The here offered “Iron Cross” Wochenspruch is one of the rarest of them all and because of it’s image one of the more desirable ones.
The tekst in the centre is by famous german Moltke and reads: “Um grosse erfolge zu erreichen, muss etwas gewagt werden – Moltke”.
The dimensions of the Wochenspruch are approximately 35 x 24 centimeters. Ideal to list and display in e.g. a glasscabinet next to a collection of Ek’s or on the wall of a mancave.
The ondition is pretty good, there are two folds, on the back there is some tape and a drawing, invisible from the front. When framed this would look amazing. Priced accordring to it’s condition very well!
