Description
This is a WWII Iron Cross First Class (EK1) / Eisernes Kreuz Erste Klasse + etui.
The case is a rare variation with rounded front- and back parts on top, this is a variation you don’t often see. Also the “bed” in which the cross rests is a rare variation with more square parts.
The cross itself is in good condition, but has some paintloss on the swastika, it is on the underside of the needle maker marked with makerscode “100”, which stands for maker Rudolf Wächtler & Lange from Mittweida.
An interesting set you don’t see ver very often in this configuration.
