This is a WWII Maschinen Gewehr Abteilung badge.
Pleaase note the swastika on the helmet. This is a 100% world war two badge. Most badges in this design are known as World War I veterans badges, but clearly this is from a later date.
Quite rare and only the first we’ve ever found.
In very good condition.
