WWII USA Purple Heart and Bronze Star group, named to John D. Brown.
Brown served from september 1940 to June 1945 with Company A, 120th Combat Engineering Battalion, 45th Infantry Division.
Served in the European theater, saw combat in northern France, Rhineland, central Europe, Sicily and Anzio.
There are two documents from the previous collector who describes how he bought the medals from Brown personally.
