Description

Willem van de Poll (samenstelling) – Nazi Hel SS – Amsterdam, Van Holkema & Warendorf N.V., 1945 – 32 pp. – spiraalgebonden met gekartonneerde platten – 18,5 x 24,5 cm.

This is a book with terrible and very confronting photo’s, taken by the allied forces during the liberation, that give an undisguised insight into the life and death situation in concentrationcamps and the nazi attrocities. Published and put together during the libertionperiod and published directly after the war, to give the world an insight in the criminal and dehumanizing practices of the nazi’s.

The condition is good for it’s age. The book was printed on inferior warpaper.

This is an important historical publication that shows what nazism led to, it was also meant as a holocaust remembrance book, so that the world would (and could) never forget the terrible things that happened.

In todays day and age this is still an incomparable book, that shows by direct “straight in your face” honest pictures what happened.
