Description
This is a vintage (Denmark) Carlsberg HOF Beer enameld shield with swastika. It dates back to the 1920’s/30’s.
On the right underside it is marked with A/S Glud & Marstrands Fabrikker.
The size is 495 x 35 x 2 cm.
In very good condition, only on the corners a little agedamage from where it was mounted to a wall.
The swastika in the centre was used as a symbol of peace in the pre-war period. After the war it was however removed from the Carlsberg products.
Very hard to find! A great item for in a mancave or diorama!
