Description
This is a rare Dutch Red Cross (Het Nederlandsche Roode Kruis) children’s identification proofcard, on name of Louise Kas, born 31 december 1929, from St. Annaparochie.
Also included in the group is her Twee Distributie Stamkaart (second distribution card), stamped in Het Bildt. As well as a letter dated 1 april 1946, from Bewarings-en Verblijfkamp Vliegveld Leeuwarden, more particularly the camp for men. Where (probably?) the father of Louise was interned after the war- > Prisoner Ane J. Kas Nr. 1071, staying in barack A. In the letter he writes that he will not be released any time soon and that he heard his house was now empty and will probably loose it.
Ane was interned after the war and was probably a former NSB member or collaborator. The groupd is unresearched but a googlesearch on his name gave already this: https://www.genealogieonline.nl/genealogie_kuipers/I89847.php
The childrens identification proofcards are very rar to find, having it named and in a group with other documents is very rare.
