Description
Kriegsverdienstkreuz erster Klasse / War Merit Cross first class + etui.
The case is a desirable one with convex shaped lid and full KVK image on top. It has a full function push button to open and close, and also has a black “bed” in which the cross rests, giving it a great look. The cross is a buntmetal cross in great condition with lots of silver colour.
The cross itself is not visibly maker marked but can be attributed to maker Kerbach & Österhelt from Dresden.
A great and very desirable set that is getting harder and harder to find these days. Superior in all aspects to a zinc KVK1.
