WW2 miniature Signal magazine – No 18 – V1 Rocket edition (1944)
This is an extremely rare miniature edition of the wellknow German WW2 magazin “Signal”. It is in small size and in English language, as it was made to be put in a V1 rocket, which was aimed at England. The idea was that when the rocket exploded, the Signal would act as anti English propaganda. In reality this did not exactly work and only a handfull of these are known to have survived. The handfull that exist from this edition 18 are said to have come from a crashed and unexploded V1 that was found in the Netherlands.
The condition is obviously used as this was found in the remains of a crashed V1 in a field.
Of the utmost rarity!!!!!
Ps: while this is edition 18 there are only editions known from no. 16 from 1944 to no.1 from 1945. IF any other editions were ever made they did not survice history.
