Description
This is a WWII German Wochenspruch (propaganda miniposter) with image of a Red Cross eagle with Red Cross in its claws, it dates to 16-22 juni 1940.
These “Wochensprucher” were official by the NSDAP published little propagandaposters, that could because of their small sizes easily be hung up in houses (e.g. in the kitchen), but also in public buildings, et cetera.
The here offered “Infanterie” Wochenspruch is a very rare to find one and is because of it’s image of the Red Cross one of the more desirable ones.
The tekst in the centre comes from a speech Goedbbels gave and reads: “Der Führer hat uns gerufen, nun werden wir alle kommen und unser Opfer bringen – Dr. Goebbels, Berlin 17 April 1940”.
The dimensions of the Wochenspruch are approximately 35 x 24 centimeters. Ideal to list and display in e.g. a glasscabinet next to a collection of e.g. Red Cross items.
In very good (MINT) condition, impossible to upgrade.
